Usually held on the second Saturday of May, this day brings together giant groups from Catalonia and other places, promoting dialogue and coexistence through a popular demonstration deeply rooted in local and Catalan identity.<\/p>\n<p>The festival starts in the gardens of Castell Nou with an exhibition of the participating giant figures\u2014giants, giants, big heads and bestiary elements\u2014which offers a first opportunity to enjoy this cultural heritage. Then, a parade travels through the main streets until reaching the Pla\u00e7a dels Pa\u00efsos Catalans, where the final show of giant dances and dances takes place, a moment full of joy and emotion that culminates with the explosion of the end of the festival.<\/p>\n<p>The local protagonists are Rimbau and Sibil\u00b7la, two emblematic giants who symbolize representative elements of the history and tradition of Llinars, such as the Torrassa and the basket of linen flowers, dressed in the traditional clothing of full-dress farmers.
