It is danced in couples who hit the sticks following rhythmic and very dynamic choreographies. With deep roots throughout the territory, in Llinars del Vall\u00e8s this tradition has been recovered thanks to the work of the local delegation of the Colla Giola. The Ball de Bastons takes place every year on September 11.   <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The recovery project, initiated between late 2016 and early 2017, was the result of historical research to document elements of the local tradition: old scores, dance typologies and references to the original costumes. Thanks to this effort, today two historical pieces of music from the Llinars Stick Dance can be heard again, performed to the rhythm of the flabiol and tambor\u00ed, as they were done in the past. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Special care has also been taken with the visual aspect: the dancers dress in blue and yellow, the colors of the town&#8217;s coat of arms and flag, with costumes designed and made by hand. In addition, a unique graphic image has been created, with a coat of arms designed by local artist Agust\u00ed Ors. <\/p>\n<p>The recovery of the Ball de Bastons is a commitment to preserving and revitalizing the municipality&#8217;s intangible heritage, strengthening the link with its cultural roots and turning it into a living expression of local identity.
