Circular route that recovers an old communication path between the town of Llinars and the rural neighborhood of Sanata. The route follows traditional paths historically used to access the farmhouses, fields and the parish, and runs through a forest landscape characteristic of this sector of the municipality. One of the highlights of the route is the Alzina Grossa, a large, listed tree, located in a traditional passage and reference space within the network of local paths.
The central point of the route is the neighborhood of Sanata, with the church of Sant Joan de Sanata as its main reference. Located in the middle of fields and forests, this old rural parish, documented since the year 1003 and rebuilt in the 16th century, is part of the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest. Beyond its historical value, today it is a living space within the cultural life of the municipality thanks to the Sanata Concerts Cycle , an annual program of small-format classical music that combines heritage, culture and natural environment.
With a cumulative elevation gain of 263 meters, an approximate duration of 4 hours and a smooth and continuous route, the route is moderately demanding and is suitable for people looking for an accessible but sustained route.
