The Teatre Auditori de Llinars del Vallès is a leading cultural facility, with a stable and diverse programming that includes theater, music, dance, festivals, artistic residencies and community projects. It is an active and open space, which connects professionals, entities and the neighborhood in a quality cultural offer.
The building, designed by architect Álvaro Siza —Pritzker Architecture Prize winner— is a functional and elegant piece integrated into the landscape, which stands out for its relationship with natural light, balanced proportions and clean volumes. It has a main hall for almost 300 people, multipurpose spaces and smaller rooms for rehearsals or informal events. All the equipment is accessible to people with reduced mobility and has free parking.
The Auditorium Theatre is also the space for the municipality’s cultural entities to meet, rehearse and live together. It also houses a very active theatre and dance classroom, is the headquarters of the Escola de Dansa Vocacions and offers spaces for rent.
The Theatre has several spaces adapted to different uses. The Sala Gran, with 296 seats, a 12 x 15 metre stage and the necessary technical equipment, is ideal for shows and large events. The Sala Tallers, open and versatile, hosts meetings, artistic residencies and dance activities. And the Sala Montseny, with its unique windows and elegance, offers a unique setting for meetings and cultural events.
Thus, the Auditorium Theatre connects with other cultural spaces in the municipality, such as the Espai d’Art and the Espai Ruscalleda, creating a coherent and attractive cultural network. This set reinforces the identity of Llinars as a culturally vibrant, sustainable and welcoming municipality.
