El domen de Pedralcha is one of the oldest testimonies of human presence in Llinars del Vallès. Located between this municipality and Vilalba Sasserra, it is part of the Montnegre i el Corredor Park and is listed as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest. It is a megalithic tomb built between 3500 and 2000 BC, probably used as a collective burial space by the prehistoric communities of the area.
The preserved structure is simple: three vertical slabs that form a small burial chamber, covered by a large upper slab slightly displaced. It is just over two meters long and less than a meter high, integrating modestly but significantly into the natural environment. Despite its simplicity, the dolmen is a key piece to understanding the symbolism and the first forms of organization of the territory.
To access it you have to take a short walk through forest tracks without specific signage, so it is recommended to consult a map or app before setting out. Despite not having interpretive elements, the visit to the dolmen fits very well into a wider route through the park, and can be an enriching experience for lovers of nature, history or archaeology.
